Dominate Your Next Race: The Atlas HYROX Performance Assessment
Stop guessing with your training. Discover the exact physical bottlenecks slowing down your compromised running, sled pushes, and wall balls, and get the data you need to build an unstoppable HYROX engine.
Why Guess When You Can Measure?
If your run times fall off a cliff after the sled push, or your legs completely give out during the lunges, doing more of them in training isn't always the answer.
At Atlas High Performance, our HYROX Performance Assessment uses elite-level sports science technology to look under the hood of your performance. We identify exactly where you are leaking energy and losing time across the 8km race and 8 functional stations.

What We Test (And Why It Matters For Your Race)
1. Absolute Strength (IMTP - Isometric Mid-Thigh Pull)
The Science: We measure your absolute maximal strength relative to your body weight.
The HYROX Impact: This establishes your pound-for-pound strength ceiling. If this number is too low, heavy stations like the Sled Push and Sled Pull will completely drain your central nervous system, ruining your subsequent running laps.
2. Tendon Efficiency & "Springiness" (CMRJ RSI)
The Science: We measure how efficiently your tendons recycle elastic energy when you hit the ground.
The HYROX Impact: This is the secret to Running Economy. If you have poor elasticity, you rely entirely on muscle power to run the 8km, which burns significantly more energy. High springiness means faster, more efficient running and smoother compromised transitions.
3. Lower-Body Explosive Power (Countermovement Jump)
The Science: We test how quickly and violently you can produce force from a standstill.
The HYROX Impact: This transfers directly to your speed and efficiency on the Burpee Broad Jumps and the height/drive of your Wall Balls.
4. Unilateral Leg Power (Single Leg Jump)
The Science: We isolate your left and right legs to identify power imbalances.
The HYROX Impact: HYROX relies heavily on single-leg propulsion—especially during the Sandbag Lunges. A hidden imbalance here leads to rapid mechanical decay and stride breakdown when you are under fatigue.
5. Run-Specific Joint Rigidity (Ankle & Knee Iso Pushes)
The Science: We measure the structural rigidity of your calf/Achilles and quad/patellar tendon complexes at specific running joint angles.
The HYROX Impact: This dictates your ability to absorb ground impact. A strong baseline here prevents late-race mechanical decay, meaning you can sustain your running pace even after heavy, leg-draining stations.
