I first met Stephen whilst he was on placement at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, where I was the Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach as part of the multidisciplinary Sports Science and Medical Department.
I was directly mentoring Steve for 5 months and during this time he showed exemplary time management skills and punctuality. This was coupled with an enthusiasm to not only apply himself in the most professional and suitable manner but to also ensure that the specific age ranges he was working with were having fun. A key component many sports scientists and coaches a like often forget.
Steve was a well liked addition to our team and we would not hesitate to recall upon his duties again in the future, he would be an asset to any team or a strong leader in his own right.

"I’ve been working with Steve for quite a while and at the beginning I had no real experience in a gym and I did not have much confidence in myself working out either. I met Steve due to his work with athletes and strength and conditioning. Talking to Steve, he asked me certain questions about my sporting background and about what sports I played. One thing about working with Steve that’s different is that he takes simple exercises and changes them to suit what you’re looking for, every exercise is for a reason and he explains the reason simply so you understand the benefit of what you’re doing. He helps you gain confidence in what you’re doing and in yourself in part. Another major benefit of working with Steve is that he honestly cares about his clients and their goals, he has worked with me through injuries I’ve had and even his own broken arm. Steve is a great coach and knows his stuff but the best thing about working with him is that you are not just a number on a piece of paper to him and he will actually help you to the best of his ability any time you need him. He’s a good coach and a dead on lad too."

"I first met Stephen when he coached my son at the gym. I could see the improvements and confidence growth in my son after only a few sessions.
I was seeing no gains myself in the gym. I had hit a plateau in most exercises. I enlisted the help of Stephen to help me break these barriers. He took my training right back to basics, set me targets each week and I was hitting PBs after 4 or 5 week's.
His motto is to trust the plan, don't do any more or any less and you will get results and this is certainly true for me. I am much stronger, I'm getting leaner and I'm really loving my training.
