It's been an incredibly busy first few weeks since the gym opened. Beyond anything I ever thought it would be like! I'm grateful to be in the position I am given the last 2 years or so and I thank each and every one of the people who have continued to support me!

Job Title - Assistant S&C Coach
This role is designed to cover predominantly gym based sessions, but may extend to outdoor sessions if the applicant fits the position. Candidate will need to have previous gym experience, both from a personal training & a large group training perspective. Applicants who have previously worked in a team S&C environment will be considered favorably for this role given the nature of the position. Having own transport is desirable, but not essential as role can be limited to gym based work only. Team sessions will be female & male based.
Job Description
Reporting to the myself, the Assistant S&C coach will provide coaching support for all strength & conditioning sessions delivered at Atlas High Performance Centre ensuring these programmes are delivered to the highest standards, in a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
Coaching
Assist & lead (on occassion) the S&C sessions provided in Atlas High Performance Centre for various age groups and organisations.
Lead, where required, pitch based S&C warm ups, speed, agility and conditioning sessions.
Ensure best practice and delivery is followed when coaching teams & small groups sessions.
Ensure customer service is to the highest standard when dealing with queries/concerns.
Aid in the development of long term athletic development plans for each team & sport.
Monitor and record athletes progress using on a daily/weekly basis.
Maintain the gym environment, setting up and taking down equipment as required.
Technical Responsibilities
Demonstrate a continuous drive for further education.
Assist in the maintenance of all app based programming through Train Heroic.
Development of extra resources for athletes and members of Atlas High Performance Centre.
Continuously improve coaches knowledge and skills to remain up-to-date to keep in line with the evidence-informed approach.
The above contains the main outline of duties. However, it’s inevitable that tasks may arise which may not fall within the remit of the above list of main duties. Employees are required to respond with a flexible approach when ad hoc tasks arise which are not specifically covered in their job description. Should an additional responsibility become a regular part of an employee’s job, the Job Description will be amended to reflect this.

A 3rd level degree is desired (with coaching experience)
Part-time hours: Up to 10 hours per week
Salary: Hourly rate, to be determined
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
